The course duration is 3 years, divided into 6 semesters.Students will learn from Basics to Advanced interior design topics including Furniture Design, Lighting Design for Interiors, Textiles and Soft Furnishings, Sustainable Design Practices etc.
The eligibility criteria is a pass in 10+2 / Higher Secondary (HS) / Pre University (PUC) / ‘A’ Level (with 12 years of schooling) or its equivalent with English as one of the languages.
The course covers a wide range of topics including Introduction to Interior Design, Spatial Design, Design Elements and Principles, Interior Decoration, Technical Aspects, Project Management, and Specialization Tracks in Residential and Commercial Design.
The RSD Institute B.Sc Interior design degree programs are affiliated with Bangalore City University.
Upon completion, students will have proficiency in interior design principles, spatial planning, aesthetics, and more. They will also develop a portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects across different specialisations.
